Title : Visual Designer
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Duration: 6 Months
This individual will interface with the requirement and software design teams providing graphics and user interface designs for desk top and web based applications in the e-learning space. This individual will also work with the marketing and strategic partnership teams to provide icons, logos, color schemes and other interface elements for both branded and OEM versions of our products.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Creating web base prototypes utilizing HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
* Producing stunning graphics to be included in both web and desk top based applications.
* User interface designs using tradition mock up tools like Visio and Photoshop.
* Writing user interface specification documents.
Skills Needed :
* Must be creative individual.
* Must have experience with some UI prototyping tools and languages like HTML, JavaScript, MS Visual Studio, and Visio.
* Must have experience with graphic design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Must have well rounded technical understanding of application development for both the Windows desktop and the web.
* Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate designs.
* Ability to document user interface designs through specifications documents.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet aggressive schedules.
* Ability to be effective in an environment of continuous change.
* 3+ years experience in user interface and graphic design.
* Should have commercial software experience.
* Knowledge of usability principles, methods, and design conventions.
